2008:

  • Competed with Sigalsport in the full 2008 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series co-driving a BMW Dinan Riley DP with Gene Sigal. Finished 3rd at Mid-Ohio and fifth at Miami and VIR.

2007:

  • Competed with Speedsource Mazda at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Finished seventh in the GT class.
  • Competed in five Koni Challenge races with three different teams.

2006:

  • Competed with Acura in the Koni Challenge co-driving an Acura ST.
  • Won the manufacturer’s championship for Acura and finished second in points in the drivers’ championship scoring two wins and seven podium finishes.

2005:

  • Competed with JMB Racing USA in the Rolex Sports Car Series co-driving a Ferrari 360 Challenge in the GT class.
  • Competed in five Grand-Am Cup events co driving an Acura TSX in the ST class.

2004:

  • Competed in the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series with JMB Racing USA co-driving a Ferrari 360 GT with Maurizio Mediani. Finished third (first ever podium finish for JMB USA) at Homestead.
  • Competed in the Speed World Challenge driving an Acura. Finished third in the series. Matt scored two wins, two pole positions and two track records. Highest placing front wheel drive entry by 26 points.

2003:

  • Competed in the Speed World Challenge driving a BMW M3. Matt won the Rookie of the Year award and scored one second place and finished all races in the top ten.

2002:

  • Competed in the Rolex 24 at Daytona with Autosport Porsche.

2001:

  • Competed in the Dodge Pro Series championship. Matt finished second in the overall championship and won two races at Detroit and Laguna Seca with four pole positions and six podium finishes.

2000:

  • Competed in the Dodge Pro Series championship. Matt finished fourth in the overall championship and won one race in Vancouver, scored three podium finishes and eight top ten finishes.

2008:

  • Competed with Sigalsport in the 2008 Grand-Am Rulex Sports Car Series co-driving a BMW Dinan Riley DP with Matt Plumb. Finished 3rd at Mid-Ohio and fith at Miami and VIR.

2007:

  • Competed with Sigalsport BMW team in the 2007 Rulex 24 at Daytona co driving a BMW Riley DP with Bill Auberlen, Matt Alhadeff and Karl Wendlinger.

2006:

  • Competed with Sigalsport BMW team in the 2006 Rulex Sports Car Series co-driving a BMW M3 No. 04 with Peter MacLeod. Gene changed car for the last race and scored a GT podium finish at the Rulex Series season finale, the Sunchaser 9 hours, co driving a Pontiac GTO with Peter McLeod and Tommy Kendall.
  • Competed and finished third overall in the inaugural 24 Hours of Dubai co-driving a Porsche GT3 with Matt Alhadeff, Miro Konopka and Mauro Casadei.

2005:

  • Competed with Sigalsport in the Rulex Sports Car Series co-driving a Porsche GT3 Cup in the GT class until VIR at Mexico City where he finished second co-driving a BMW M3 with Bill Auberlen. Competed with Fiorano Racing in the last five Grand-Am Cup races co-driving a Porsche 996 in GS.

2004:

  • Competed in the Grand American Rulex Series with his own Grease Monkey Racing team co-driving a Porsche GT3 with Harrison Brix. Scored one win (Fontana), two podium and two top-five finishes in the SGS class. Finished ninth in Rulex Series SGS drivers’ championship.
  • Won the GT class at The Tribute to Le Mans co-driving a Ferrari 360 with Rusty West at California Speedway.

2003:

  • Raced in 6 races of the Barber Pro series in North America
  • Competed in the North American Ferrari Challenge driving a Ferrari 355. Won two pule positions and finished third in the series.

Early Career:

Gene competed at the highest level of go karting from 1993 through 1997. He won 60 races and was selected by the WKA to represent Team USA several times at the world championships. Gene raced alongside some of the fastest drivers in the world. Gene represented the USA in karting competitions in Guatemala and Brazil alongside Juan Pablo Montoya, Felipe Massa and Jimmy Vasser. Gene won five regional and national kart series championships.
